Effective date: 7 May 2026  ·  Last updated: 7 May 2026  ·  Version: 1.0
Applies to: www.intellifleet360.com and related public sub-domains.
Does not apply to: the IntelliFleet 360 customer platform at app.intellifleet360.com, which uses only strictly-necessary cookies governed by your customer contract.
About this document. This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies we use on our public website, the lawful basis for using them, and how you can manage your preferences. It supplements (but does not replace) our Privacy Policy. Together they discharge our obligations under Sections 25, 28 and 30 of the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, and Article 31 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit. Cookies allow websites to recognise your device on subsequent visits, remember preferences, and produce analytics. Similar technologies — pixels, local storage, IndexedDB, session storage — work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.

Cookies are categorised by lifespan (session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them), and by source (first-party cookies are set by intellifleet360.com itself; third-party cookies are set by a domain other than the one you are visiting).

2. Categories of cookies we use

We group cookies into three categories. You can accept or reject each non-essential category independently.

Necessary Always on

Strictly required to make the site work. Without these cookies, you cannot navigate the site, sign in, submit forms, or have your cookie-consent decision remembered. Necessary cookies do not require consent under Section 30 DPA 2019 because they are essential to deliver the service you have asked for.

Analytics Off by default

Help us understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages people read, where they get stuck, what content they download. We use this to improve content and fix problems. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you give explicit consent. We configure them with IP-anonymisation and the shortest practical retention period.

Marketing Off by default

Used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to show you relevant IntelliFleet 360 ads on other sites you visit. Marketing cookies are loaded only after you give explicit consent and can be turned off again at any time. We never load these cookies until you opt in.

3. Detailed list of cookies and similar technologies

This is the complete list of cookies and similar technologies we may use on intellifleet360.com. We update it whenever we add or change a tool.

Necessary

Analytics (loaded only with consent)

Marketing (loaded only with consent)

4. Third-party cookies

Some cookies on our site are set by third-party services (analytics and advertising vendors named above). When these cookies are loaded — only after you opt in — those vendors may receive your IP address, the page URL, and limited browser data. Each vendor processes your data under its own privacy policy:

We have entered into Data Processing Addendums or equivalent contractual safeguards with each vendor. Where data is transferred outside Kenya, the transfer relies on the mechanisms described in section 7 of our Privacy Policy.

5. Lawful basis

We rely on:

  • Legitimate interests (Section 30(1)(f) DPA 2019) for strictly-necessary cookies — the site cannot function without them and you have a reasonable expectation of their use.
  • Consent (Section 30(1)(a) DPA 2019) for analytics and marketing cookies. Consent is collected through an opt-in interface and can be withdrawn at any time.

6. Manage your preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time. Click the button below to open the preferences panel — your current selections are pre-filled.

Open cookie preferences. Choose which categories you accept. Necessary cookies remain on; analytics and marketing can be toggled independently.

Your decision is stored locally on your device under the key if360_cookie_consent_v1. Clearing your browser data, or switching device or browser, will reset your preferences and cause us to ask again.

You can also withdraw consent at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.

7. Browser-level controls

Modern browsers let you block, delete, or be alerted about cookies through the browser settings. Each browser is different — guidance from the major vendors:

Blocking all cookies will break sign-in, form submission, and the cookie-consent system itself.

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Modern browsers can send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) header or a "Global Privacy Control" (GPC) signal. We honour GPC: when our site receives a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a withdrawal of consent for analytics and marketing cookies for the visit. DNT is a deprecated standard and we do not act on the DNT header alone, but we do not load any non-essential cookie until you have given affirmative consent through the consent panel.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove tools, or when the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Material changes are also reflected in an updated CONSENT_VERSION in our consent module, which causes us to re-prompt every visitor for a fresh opt-in decision.
